Amazing algebra!

Qing has amazed Miss Leftley by how quickly he has understood what algebra is all about.  In the first lesson he managed a whole page of calculations independently, and can talk about what he did and why.  Great news, Qing!

Additionally brilliant!

Adam has been working REALLY hard on his addition.  He can now add three-digit numbers easily and independently and his teachers and teaching assistants are delighted with what he has achieved.  Well done, Adam!

As creative as ...

Although Jake recognises that writing isn't 'his strong point', he has come up with some amazing similes and examples of personification.  What a creative start to the year, Jake!  The only way is up so keep up the good work!

Dinosaur dioramas

Spencer, Logan, Yasmine and Laylah really enjoyed making these moving diroamas.  Their models explain three possible reasons why the dinosaurs became extinct, and their attention to detail shows how much they enjoyed creating them.  Super work, folks!

Technical Wizard

Our first Special Achiever of the year!  Thank you for all your help during assemblies last week, Thomas.  You stepped in at the last minute, took your responsibility very seriously, and your help was invaluable.  Well done!

Incy Wincy Spider

What a super idea these spiders in their webs are!  Lilli, Alfie, Charlie, Brandon and Gabriel had to prepare their plate, paint their spider (with 8 legs!), thread the wool and then stick on the eyes.  Well done, people, for some really effective pieces of art work!

Marvellous minibeats

Kal-El, Lacey, Autumn, Esmee, Gracie, Jack, Jack and Elsa have been very busy designing and creating these beautiful felt minibeasts.  I am impressed by how closely they have paid attention to the detail of their plan and how their decoration matches their original ideas.  Brilliant work!
