The life and times of ...

What a lot Adam and Oliver have achieved in their lives so far, and what fascinating reads their autobiographies make!  They are beautifully written and illustrated, contain so much interesting information and made me laugh - a lot!  These are brilliant homework projects, chaps!

Read all about it!

Here's a very proud gentleman, and no wonder!  Max has been practising his reading every day in school and at home.  He is very enthusiastic in his group reading sessions and showed this in his latest assessment.  Great news, Max!

In the news

Noah has used all he has learned about Tudor jousting to create a brilliant and very entertaining news report and commentary using Puppet Pals on an iPad.  His use of the present tense and vocabulary choices really add to the excitement.  Who will win the hand of the princess?

A place in the sun

Majorca? Florida? Disneyland Paris?  Cara, Isla and Mia's stunningly eye-catching brochures make each destination sound so tempting.  They have used a mixture of interesting facts and colourful pictures to convince the reader that their deal is the best - I'm convinced anyway!

Getting around!

James is so proud of his transport leaflet that he wanted Mrs Davies in the photo too, so you would know how proud she is of James!  He worked all by himself to include detailed descriptions, illustrations, pictures and even opening times for the different vehicles.  His spelling is AMAZING and you can read every word he has written.  What a superstar you are, James!

Roydon Travel Agency

Meet our new travel agents!  If you have still not decided where to go on holiday this year, just check out these amazing travel brochures made as homework by Logan, Kai, Lucy, Harry and Jack.  What a lot of research went into them!  The descriptions were so convincing I am going to book a holiday with all five of them!

The drama ...!

What dramatic present tense accounts of Henry the VIII's joust.  You could really believe that Millie, Levi, Annie, Thomas, Blythe, Xanthe and James were actually there!  They used some amazing vocabulary and sentence structures that made their reports gripping to read.  Great work, folks!
