Not-so-traditional tales!

Meet our new authors!  They all have amazing imaginations and, after hearing the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, they have written their own version.  Using the power of three, fabulous adjectives and creative connectives means that they have all produced a superb piece of work.  What geniuses you are, Ellie-May, Miah, Nicole, Jack, Gabriel, Olly, Chloe, Imogen, Harry, Daniel, Preston, Blossom, Oliver and Lysander!

These folks have been using paint, water, tissue paper, glue, oil pastels AND candles to create these magnificent pictures from the story 'The Way Back Home'.  Each one of these pictures has something amazing about it that makes stand out from all the rest.  Well done Lexi, Elle, Zach, Charlie, Isobel, Jack, Freddie, Riley, Ellie-May, Joshua, Maisie and Kai!

Darcey, Freddie, Igor, Lucas, Bailee, Codie, Lexi and Willow have shown how carefully they have been listening in their recent work about Florence Nightingale.  These letters show lots of details about hospitals during the Crimean War, and really do explain how gruesome conditions were.  Well done, folks!

Someone and the Something!

Connor, Harry, Zak, Matthew and Sophie made some amazing vocabulary choices and used really imaginative ideas to create their own version of Jack and the Beanstalk.  Their great ideas about a different character and a different setting kept me gripped from beginning to end.  What fabulous authors!
