Seb, Ellie and Isobel have really impressed Miss Stannard with their newspaper reports.  The vocabulary they chose to describe the nation's delight that the war was over made their articles atmospheric to read!  Well done you three!

What's the time, Mr Hunt?

Jordan worked really hard all on his own to solve loads of really tricky time problems and got them all right first time.  No wonder Miss Phillips is so pleased with him!

Two superb mathematicians

Jack and Lleyton have really impressed Mrs Walsh with their brilliant maths brains.  They have done some very challenging doubling work using what they have learned already.

Super neat!

Sometimes Jack's sums were not always very easy to read, but he has been working really hard to make his writing neater and neater.  Now it is absolutely beautiful!  Keep up the good work!

Ellie's potion

Ellie decided to do the same work as the Year 1 children and wrote a potion ALL BY HERSELF!  She listened so carefully for all the phonemes she could hear.  I'd love to try her potion, but I don't want to get tummy ache!  Well done you!

Connor did the Year 2 children's work today and chose some amazing words and phrases to write a really spooky story? I was terrified!  Well done you!

Lexi used a number line to work out the answers to lots and lots of sums, and kept going without any help from an adult. Well done you!

Autumn has been a very busy little bee in her classroom and has been doing every number activity she can find.  No wonder Mrs Clarke has a big smile on her face!

Dear Diary

Miss Leftley was really pleased that Ellie, Jack, Amie and Seb met all the success criteria for their Little Canada diaries.  They all used some fantastic vocabulary and phrases that made their work really interesting to read.

Little Canada Memories

Miss Stannard is very impressed by the way Josh, Josh, Alfie, Guy and Alex wrote up their Little Canada diaries.  They chose really interesting vocabulary to produce detailed descriptions of the events and activities, and they met all the success criteria.  Now we need to teach Josh what a shower is for!!

Sing Along with Charlie!

Do ask Charlie to sing his wartime song for you!  It shows he really understands what it was like during the Second World War!

After Alfie had done some tallying in class, he decided to try some on his own.  Well done you for asking everyone about their favourite fruit!

Movie Maker!

Leon has worked all by himself to make a fabulous animation of a dog running past a person with a buggy! It looked really convincing!

What the time, Mr Giant?

Skyla and Melissa had to work out the time that different events happened in the Jack and the Beanstalk story,and then had to put them in the right order on a time line. Brilliant work!
