Oliver!

It really shows that Mia and Levi took their time over their descriptions of Fagin's Den.  They have used some very mature descriptive phrases and beautiful similes to create an atmospheric impression of the scene that met Oliver.  Super work!

You'll never guess what happened!

These diary entries have been beautifully written by Oslo and Amy who have chosen some amazing vocabulary and phrases that really make you want to read all about what happened during their day.  Who would have thought that they would bump into a caveman?  Great writing, folks!

Jack defeats the giant!

Lewis-Lloyd has shown how carefully he was listening to the story of Jack and the Beanstalk by the details he has included in his storyboard to retell what happened.  He is very proud that he did this work ALL BY HIMSELF, and so he should be!  Well done, Lewis-Lloyd!

Two halves

Libby-Anne has been doubly smart with her maths work.  Not only does she know the names of these shapes, but she worked all by herself to fold them carefully so that she could find half of each one.  What a clever lady!

Wanted!

There are some very dodgy characters about - not Immy or Abigail, but the pirates they would like us to keep an eye out for!  They have written such detailed descriptions, using fabulous adjectives, you will definitely know them if you see them.  Great writing, girls!

We will remember ...

It is wonderful to know that Elle, Mason, Rachel, Isobel, Charlie and Sam have taken Remembrance Day so seriously.  Their acrostic poems really quite moving with carefully chosen vocabulary and beautiful phrases they certainly make you stop and think.  Amazing work, people!

Once upon a time ...

Rhys and Sam are looking very pleased with themselves because they have worked brilliantly together to type up Rhys' version of Little Red Riding Hood.  It is a gripping story about Archie, so see them if you need a bedtime story.  Great team work, gentlemen!

Rising to the challenge!

I can see a future in the games industry for Arman and Marcy - their maths games are A-MAZ-ING!  Arman chose a theme of sushi, while Marcy wanted us to go on a monster hunt with their ingenious ideas, and we really enjoyed playing them.  What clever ways to practise your number skills!

Well I never ...!

Did you know that there is a caveman living in a cave, and none of us has realised!  Well, not until someone fell down a hole and found him.  Just read Holly's, Connor's, Callum's or Phoebe's newspaper accounts and you will find out who, when, where and what!  They have included some great quotations as well.

Are you sitting comfortably?

Logan, Dovydas, Evie, Preston and Niamh have written some super stories and have chosen some really clever words and phrases to make their writing interesting for the reader.  What very grown-up work, folks!
