Chloe really enjoyed creating this stunning space picture and is very proud of the result.  She was patient and paid close attention to detail, and particularly enjoyed getting messy!  Great work, Chloe!

International Space Stations

 

What a fantastic career opportunity these children have had!  Shona, Rosie, Rudi, Joe and Stevie have been designing a space station in 2D and using the Design 5D app to see what their plans look like in 3D.  They have included lots of detail with amazing results!

Victorian cross stitch

During their topic on Victorians, Travis, Rosie, Jasmine and Annie have tried their hand at cross stitch.  The results are very impressive and they are justifiably proud of their work.  Excellent sewing, folks!

Little Canada, Big Adventure

Here are four more children who LOVED going to Little Canada!  You can tell how much they enjoyed their week from the huge amount of work they have put into recording every activity they did.  Well done, lady and gentlemen!

20/20

There's being able to spell, and there's being able to spell, and this lady can certainly spell!  Not many children in the country can say they got everyone of the twenty spellings correct in their SATs - but Grace can.  Super effort!

A Leading Digital Leader

It is amazing to see how much Fabian has matured this year.  It hasn't always been like this, but now when he is given a tricky piece of work to complete, he takes on the challenge with a determination to succeed - and succeed well!  A great attitude to take with you to high school, Fabian.  Well done!

Sports Ambassadors

 Ethan and Jenson have been such good ambassadors for our school.  They have played in football and cricket teams, and Jenson has represented the school in tag rugby while Ethan is a cross country runner.  They both always show excellent sportsmanship.

All-rounder!

We are all very impressed by this all-rounder.  Dylan is a Special Achiever because of his positive attitude towards all his learning, all the staff with whom he works, his SATs and his friends.  Here's a young gentleman who is ready for high school.  Keep up the good work, Dylan!

Crucial in a crisis!

Henry impressed the leaders of the Year 6 Crucial Crew training with his wide knowledge about what to do in different emergency situations.  He is definitely the person to have with you if you smell gas or are trapped in a fire.  What a knowledgeable gentleman you are!

Would you rather ...?

These mathematical geniuses do not make life easy!  their percentage Powerpoint presentations really tax the old brain cells in working out how many elephants you want to be trampled by, or how many times you want to be shot, or how many slugs you want in your underwear!  A really entertaining piece of work, folks!

What a lot of information!

What a huge amount of work Melissa, Callum, Elliot and Luke put into their projects!  They deserve to be Special Achievers because of the enormous number of facts they have included, the fabulous vocabulary choices they made and the beautifully neat presentation of their work.  Well done!

Beautiful border!

Matthew has shown what an ICT genius he is!  He designed a motif of a lion at a waterhole and copied it to make a patterned border for a special piece of work.  Super job, Matthew!

What patience!

Shannon showed incredible patience when she made her cam.  She has to work exceedingly carefully and accurately to make the cam work effectively.  Well done, Shannon!

Dear Diary

Miss Leftley was really pleased that Ellie, Jack, Amie and Seb met all the success criteria for their Little Canada diaries.  They all used some fantastic vocabulary and phrases that made their work really interesting to read.
