Out of this world!

Niamh, Alexander, Amelia, Luke, Oliver, Florence and Daisy have been very busy learning about 2D shapes and have shown what they know by drawing these magnificent aliens.  They could all tell me what the shapes were called.  What geniuses!

Addition in action!

Wow!  Joshua has been doing some amazing addition using the beads.  He can read each sum and knows how to use apparatus to find the answer.  What a superstar!

Amazing arrays

Hamza and Jack have been learning how to use arrays to work out multiplications.  They can talk about their work and how this way of drawing calculations helps them to find the answer.  Super work, lads!

Magic mathematician

Sam is justifiably proud of the fact that he was the first to complete a whole page of division calculations - in his head!  He is well on his way to knowing all his times tables.  Great achievement, Sam.  Well done you!

Next stop Hollywood!

Erin, Phoebe, Thomas and Qing have worked really hard to make short films that show that they understand the impact of racism on people's feelings.  They have combined texts, images and music to make very moving pieces of work.  Well done chaps and chappesses!

Mrs Collis will enjoy reading Aoife's postcard from Jerusalem.  This beautifully presented writing includes information about the city and its history.  Well done you!

An explosion of writing!

Blythe, Xanthe, Leon, Gary, Charlie, Jasmine and Megan have shown what an enormous amount they have learned about volcanoes so far this term.  The leaflets they have created are designed and illustrated so that they draw the reader in to find out more.  Great work, folks!
