Talented Tigers

The Tigers have been working really hard in maths and can talk about how they carried out all these vertical subtractions.  Mrs Walsh has been challenging them with these three digit calculations, but Levi, Thomas, Erin, Marcy and Amelia have shown that they know exactly what they are doing. Great work, folks!

A genius mathematician!

We are all so pleased with how hard Charlie has been working this term, especially in his maths lessons.  Mrs Barker-Knowles is a Special Achiever too because Charlie says she is the best teacher in the whole world!  Well done both of you!

Magic Multiplying!

Mia, Sebi, Harry and Erhan have been multiplying two-digit numbers by partitioning.  Their work shows some really clever thinking to work out the right answers.  Well done, folks!

Mrs Walsh was so pleased with Grace because she was the only child in the class who could solve this maths problem.  Great thinking, Grace!

Erin has been very busy practising division.  The first question she worked out by drawing a picture, but then she got so good at them she worked them all out in her head.  What a superstar!

Clever Calculations

Natalie, Grace and Courtney used number lines to work out the difference between two numbers.  They did some really smart calculations and could explain what they had done.  Well done you!
