Roman Myths

Adam and Luke worked very hard to write their own Roman myths using some really exciting adventures to interest their reader.  Well done lads!

Sophie's Magic Box

After reading 'The Magic Box' Sophie wrote her own poem about what Roman things she would put in her magic box! What great vocabulary choices!

What was the boy like?

Leon and Xanthe have written fabulous descriptions of the boy from the story 'The Way Back Home'. They made some amazing vocabulary choices and used similies to make their writing really interesting!  Great work!

Fire! Fire!

Darcy and Lucas found all sorts of bits and pieces to stick together to make these brilliant models of fire engines.  I love the way they have noticed the details they saw when the real fire engine came to visit.

Maisie and Millie built a fabulous model of a fire engine using the big blocks.  Then they drew an accurate picture of it and wrote some fantastic labels!  Well done girls!

Stunning sentence starters

Guy wrote some amazing sentences to describe Cindy's transport in his modern-day fairy-tale.  Miss Stannard was particularly impressed by the way he started his sentences in different ways.  Brilliant work, Guy!

Dear Boy ...

Esmee, Sophie, Harry and Summer included some fantastic questions in their letters to the boy from 'The Way Back Home'.  I was very impressed by their amazing and accurate punctuation!
