Myths and legends
In Foxes, they have been learning about myths, so Sammy decided to write her own. It has loads of interesting vocabulary choices and huge amounts of detail, both of which make it a really interesting story. Super work, Sammy!

Super sewing
Take a look at this beautiful piece of careful cross stitch! Lauren says she found it quite tricky to start with, but she got better and better and this is the result. Now she just needs to decide what to turn it into. Lovely work, Lauren!

Bath time!
Here are six architects in the making! The plans for a Roman bath that Lucas, Jack, Ellie, Codie, Sam and James have designed show how much they have learned about how the Romans used to keep clean, and they can talk really knowledgeably about how and why they were built as they were. Good thinking, chaps and chappess!
Lovely ladybird
Caitlin tells me that Saule is a fabulous artist and your can see why when you look at Saule's wonderful ladybird painting. She has also listened carefully for the sounds she needs to write a caption for her picture. Great work, missus!
Adjectives galore!
Woodpeckers have been learning all about mini-beasts and finding some amazing adjectives to describe them. We are especially impressed by the way Zane, Jake and Caitlin listened carefully for the sounds they wanted to write. Well done, folks!
Challenge after challenge!
Mrs Bennett has really challenged her maths set this week, but she couldn't catch out Phoebe, Lucas and George! They have been adding two- and three-digit numbers to crack a code to find letters and then unscrambling anagrams to find creatures from under the sea. What cleverclogses!

How to catch a dragon
These are the best instructions for catching a dragon that I have ever read! They are clear and numbered, and describe exactly what you will need and exactly what you need to do. I can't wait to catch one of my own now! Well done, Shai and Belle!
