Next stop Hollywood!

Erin, Phoebe, Thomas and Qing have worked really hard to make short films that show that they understand the impact of racism on people's feelings.  They have combined texts, images and music to make very moving pieces of work.  Well done chaps and chappesses!

Multiplication Magic!

We have another mathematical genius in school!  Harry has done some fabulous multiplication work this week.  No wonder Mrs Kineavy is proud of him!

Postcard from abroad ...

Mrs Collis will enjoy reading Aoife's postcard from Jerusalem.  This beautifully presented writing includes information about the city and its history.  Well done you!

An explosion of writing!

Blythe, Xanthe, Leon, Gary, Charlie, Jasmine and Megan have shown what an enormous amount they have learned about volcanoes so far this term.  The leaflets they have created are designed and illustrated so that they draw the reader in to find out more.  Great work, folks!

Hot off the press

This is an amazing piece of work from Skyla.  She has met all the success criteria in writing a most effective newspaper report about the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb, and Miss Leftley and I were particularly impressed by her use of punctuation.  Well done you!

Poor Monty!

There is no way anyone could resist the request Sophie and Rosie have made to Santa.  Poor Monty desperately wants a friend and after Santa has read their persuasive letters, he is bound to grant their wish!  Super pieces of work, girls!

Read all about it ...

Mr Santy has been very sneaky with his success criteria for this piece of work, but Caitlin has managed to meet all 10 points when writing a newspaper report about the discovery of King Tut's tomb.  This is very convincing writing, Caitlin, and I really felt I was reading news that was hot off the press.  Well done you!
