Double Achiever

Not just one amazing achievement, but two from Henry this week!  He has put so much time, especially at home, into improving his handwriting that his book is a perfect example of what can be achieved.  In maths he has consistently challenged himself this week to try harder and harder calculations.  Excellent effort, Henry!

What the Dickens?!

Willow and Ilana have proved themselves to be truly stunning playwrights.  They included some imaginative and mature vocabulary choices in their dialogue and stage directions, and their variety of speech was most impressive.  What a superb piece of writing, girls!

And the weather will be ...!

I wonder whether the Met Office have seen Lleyton's amazing weather forecast!  He used Puppet Pals on the iPad to create a brilliant animated weather report that also showed his knowledge of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.  Well done, Lleyton!

Two penguins and an albatross

Earlier this week Hedgehogs went to Antarctica and, while they were there, Nicole saw two penguins and an albatross.  When she got back to school she worked really carefully to make this super picture.  We are all very proud of you, missus!

Super subtraction (and addition!)

Mrs McClure is very impressed by Grace's maths.  Not only has she shown what a genius she is at vertical addition of decimals to two-decimal places, but now she can subtract 4-digit numbers vertically too!  No wonder maths is her favourite subject.  Well done!

Four-digit rounding

Chloe has shown what a maths genius she is by completing a whole page of rounding questions. She has been working four-digit numbers - and getting them all right.  Fantastic work!

Penguin Small

Imogen needed such a big piece of paper to fit all her writing on!  She listened really carefully to all the phonemes she could hear in the words she wanted to use to write this amazing version of Penguin Small.  Well done, Smiler!
