Lucky Readers!
Now wonder these folks are looking so proud of themselves. Their writing about 'The Lucky Dip' film clip they watched shows what great imaginations they have. They have all used some fantastic vocabulary to make the reader want to find out what happens. Well done Evie, Justin, Zach and Charlie!
Down in the woods
Here's a young lady who has really liked jumping in the mud! Isobel has LOVED Roydon Fen and worked hard to take part in every activity on offer over the last few weeks. She especially enjoyed learning how to light a fire safely and, of course, toasting marshmallows! We are delighted that you got so much out of Forest Schools, Isobel.

Fit for a Pharaoh!
If you ever need to build a pyramid, these are the chaps you need to see! Dylan and Erhan have used Book Creator on the iPads to compile a list of clear and detailed instructions about the steps you need to take to build and finish a burial site fit for a pharaoh! A brilliant illustration of your learning, boys - well done!
Bullseye!
Amy has shown us all what a genius she is when it comes to 'dart subtraction'. Starting with 101, she had to show that she could take away numbers until she reached zero, and she can explain exactly how to do this using a number line. She can even work the calculations out by partitioning, too. Well done, brainbox!

High drama!
We have all been very impressed by Jack's writing over the last few weeks and his story about a runaway tractor shows just what a clever man he is. His spelling is so good that you can read every word of his exciting story. I just feel sorry for all those poor animals! Fantastic work, Jack!

Anglo-Saxon recounts
You can tell by their recounts how much Mason, Sam and Max enjoyed their visit to West Stow. They all included detail about the activities, time connectives to show the order of events, and they even showed that they can write a sentence containing 'so'. Great work, lads!
A poet in the making
Izzy has shown a real flair for writing poetry. She has chosen some amazing adjectives and imaginative phrases to describe different colours and how we use our senses on Bonfire Night. These are beautiful poems Izzy - clever lass!

Perfect project!
This is a beautiful project that Isla has produced about her favourite dinosaur - Stegosaurus. It is neatly laid out, and contains informative text, a variety of pictures and accurate diagrams. It ticked every one of the success criteria and was most interesting to read. A fabulous piece of work, Isla!

Our latest bookworm!
Courtney has been working really hard, practising her reading at school and at home, and she has got better and better. You can tell how much she enjoys books by how much of her time she spends with her nose in one! Well done, Courtney!
