Fantastic vocabulary choices!

What amazing vocabulary Cara chose to use in her story about Romulus and Remus! I would never have thought of including words like 'alas' and ' replacement'!  I am ENORMOUSLY impressed.

Clever Calculations

Natalie, Grace and Courtney used number lines to work out the difference between two numbers.  They did some really smart calculations and could explain what they had done.  Well done you!

Handsome Handwriting!

My goodness, Liam has been working hard on his handwriting! In September his writing was not the neatest it could be, but now it is beautifully joined.  Well done you!

Easy Peasy Partitioning!

Oslo was told he could use the Numicon to help him partition some numbers - but he didn't need to because he knows what each number means! Super independent work!

Terrific Tower!

Harry built this amazing tower using his favourite colours to make a repeating pattern - all by himself!  Great work, Harry!

Super Similies

Marcy and Aoife thought of some very imaginative similies to use in their work.  I loved the way they chose some really unusual things to compare with a tiger.  Well done you!

Fact Families

Gracie, Levi and James worked really well on their own to work out some tricky addition and subtraction families.  Mrs Kineavy IS pleased with them!

Charlie's camel

Charlie drew a beautiful camel face and told Mrs Clarke what he liked to eat and drink - and he wrote some of his name all by himself!

Setting the scene

Zak thought of some brilliant adjectives to describe the animals in his story setting! What a genius!

Exceeding Expectations

Gabrielle and Nathan have worked so hard with their reading that they have shot past their end of year target already. No wonder Miss Leftley is proud of them!  Keep up the good work!

Super sketching

What an amazing sketch Summer did of a giraffe!  She paid really close attention to detail so that I couldn't tell which was the picture and which was the real thing.

Phoebe's very proud of herself!

Mrs Sparkles was so pleased with Phoebe's fabulous writing and careful spelling!  I do hope Harry's headache went away quickly!

Training the staff!

An ENORMOUS thank you to Sam, Connor, Megan, Rosie, Gabrielle, Joseph and Miya for their help on our staff training day.  We were very impressed by your photography and opinions, and we were very grateful to those of you who joined us when all the other children were having a lie-in!

e-books to be proud of!

Mr Santy was very impressed with Katie, Honey, Cameron and Kyle's e-books.  They showed how much they had learned during their topic about World War II. Well done all of you!
