Excellent extended sentences!

Grace's garden is beautiful! She designed it in great detail and then wrote some fabulous extended sentences to describe it.  Great vocabulary choices, Grace!

In an English country garden!

Mrs Kineavy has made Connie work ever so hard.  She had to design a garden, plot it on a grid and then record all the grid references for the different features.  She worked so carefully and accurately.  Well done you!

Welcome to my garden!

Not only did Ricky produce a really detailed plan of a garden for everyone to enjoy, he then turned it into a beautiful 3-D picture that matches his design perfectly.  Great, careful work, Ricky!

Jack and the Beanstalk ... or not!

Eddie, Mason, Sam, Sammy, Lexi and Harley have spent two weeks writing these amazing stories.  They have chosen a character, used a simile, added illustrations and written a blurb.  What superstar authors!

Beautiful border!

Matthew has shown what an ICT genius he is!  He designed a motif of a lion at a waterhole and copied it to make a patterned border for a special piece of work.  Super job, Matthew!

What patience!

Shannon showed incredible patience when she made her cam.  She has to work exceedingly carefully and accurately to make the cam work effectively.  Well done, Shannon!

The Boy

Arman, Louise, Max and Kai have thought really carefully about what they have read in 'the Way Back Home' and made deductions about what the boy's character was like.  They have used some great vocabulary. Well done you!

If I were an artist ...

Ben, Ruby and Honey have used some amazing similies and fantastic vocabulary choices to create a poem about a dragon.  They have really shown how imaginative their thoughts can be.

Rylie's Beanstalk

Rylie had a very complicated job to do.  He had to sequenced the story of Jasper's Beanstalk and then write a sentence about what happened each day.  Mrs Clarke was especially pleased because Rylie worked all by himself and was the first person to finish!
