How does your garden grow?
Look at these amazing seed packets that Reuben, Luke and Summer have designed! They have even written some labels and instructions for growing the plants. I really hope my garden looks as beautiful as these this summer. Great writing, folks!
Bake off!
Great news about Kevin and Hamza! Mrs Bennett noticed how well they worked in their groups when the class was making Roman bread. They listened carefully and followed instructions accurately, they cooperated well AND they made delicious bread! Well done, lads!

Your empire needs YOU!
These folks have certainly made joining the Roman army sound very appealing if you are strong and fit (and want to attract women!). Tomas, Riley and Emily have listened carefully in their lessons and have included lots of information they have learned in their posters. Well done, people!

In my garden ...
I'd love to stroll through Luke's garden. There are beautiful poppies, sunflowers and buddleia and you can see them in his fantastic picture. He has been very clever and used a chart to identify them, and he enjoyed telling us all about his drawing. Great work, Luke!

Poor Peter!
Poor Peter the Cat! In this fabulous story the cat gets eaten by a tired snake. Peter chose to draw a picture about what happened and then added the writing to make a book - all by himself. Superb sounding out, Peter, and I am so pleased the story had a happy ending!

Alien encounters
I can see a future career as authors for these two young ladies! Their stories about an alien encounter are packed with very mature phrases and vocabulary choices, and some of their similes need to be read to be believed. Keep up this quality of writing, girls, and you'll be in print before you know it! Fabulous work!

The Gruffalo's Child
Amelia is DELIGHTED that she is a Special Achiever! In her R.E. lessons she has been learning about things that are special, and she has drawn this a-ma-zing picture of her favourite character and his child. Can you see who it is? Super work, superstar!
