Super story endings
Amy and Darcey have each written their own fabulous ending to the story 'After the Storm'. They came up with great ideas for what Percy could have done when his shed fell down, and they chose some superb words to describe what happened and how Percy felt. Brilliant work, girls!

Dear Percy ...
This grown-up young man has written a wonderful thank you letter to Percy the Park Keeper, pretending to be Badger. Not only did he listen so carefully for all the sounds he could hear in the words he wanted to write, he also made some fantastic vocabulary choices, like 'sturdy'. We are very proud of you, Riley!
Amazing addition
Hannah has been working really hard to achieve well in her maths. She has been practising vertical addition using four-digit numbers, and has Mrs McClure has been very impressed by her efforts. Well done Hannah, keep up the good work!
PMA (Positive maths attitude!)
Katie has a fantastic attitude towards her maths. She listens carefully, tries hard to put into practice what she has learned, and always completes her homework. This week she was the only person to get every one of them correct. What a great role model to the others - well done, Katie!

Talented Tigers
The Tigers have been working really hard in maths and can talk about how they carried out all these vertical subtractions. Mrs Walsh has been challenging them with these three digit calculations, but Levi, Thomas, Erin, Marcy and Amelia have shown that they know exactly what they are doing. Great work, folks!
Double Achiever
Not just one amazing achievement, but two from Henry this week! He has put so much time, especially at home, into improving his handwriting that his book is a perfect example of what can be achieved. In maths he has consistently challenged himself this week to try harder and harder calculations. Excellent effort, Henry!
What the Dickens?!
Willow and Ilana have proved themselves to be truly stunning playwrights. They included some imaginative and mature vocabulary choices in their dialogue and stage directions, and their variety of speech was most impressive. What a superb piece of writing, girls!
